A panda-themed font has been created by WWF Japan to raise awareness and encourage donations for their panda fund-raising campaign. Each character features a stylized panda head, and was designed together with Ogilvy & Mather Japan.
According to the WWF, giant pandas are under severe threat from humans and are considered endangered. Only 1,864 of them exist in the wild. Using this font will help raise awareness of this sad fact and can make an impact on conservation efforts.
We couldn’t find a downloadable version, but you might be able to make your own font using these tools.

Does the font have a ttf version? So that i could use it on making banner or editing some pictures. The Danny Wei panda string is an exe, extension name of an application used on PC's,

WWF Japan has not released the font as a TTF yet so we created a sampler featuring just the upper case letters and available here http://towneclubrecords.com/index.php?page=pandafont

great idea, it would be an even better world if we thought about the plight of the refugees crossing seas in search of a new life, perhaps a Panda President is needed to right the causes out there and safeguard the position of the panda's still living, just an idea...
