Hi everyone! My name is Kate and I'm a watercolor painter. I enjoy painting different landscapes and cityscapes, but there is one country in the world that I love to paint most of all - sunny Malta. It’s a small but incredibly beautiful country in the Mediterranean sea.

You can't stop enjoying walking along its sunny streets and looking at beautiful and colorful doors, that have their own style and character. The atmosphere of Maltese cities is incredible and inspiring!

So here are my new paintings and sketches. I even have a sketch painted on the beach with seawater. You can see my previous posts here and here.

Have you ever been to Malta?

Beautiful! I paint in a similar style with similar subjects but for me it's old world architecture all over Europe. Also, I meandered from watercolor to gouache...I know the feeling...you can't get enough can you!?

I am forwarding a link to this site to a friend in San Diego who is a talented artist and whose roots are in Malta. I don't think she has been there -- YET!
