Why use money as a paintgroud? These pictures are 210€, if I counted right, and I can't find a reason why it has to be money. There is no connection between the money and the pictures.
Maybe it was an interesting exercise in matching or complimenting colour palettes for the artist. For buyers though it's a gimmick and the artist probably recognises that element too. Unfortunately that's the kind of thing people go for. Not cause it has greater quality or meaning to it, but because it's something a little different for the wall. I think the paintings are nicely done to be fair.
