When our daughter Sadie was born in 2012, we were expecting a healthy baby girl. We had no reason or any evidence to believe this wouldn’t be a difficult pregnancy and a special needs baby. Then our Labrador dog Hero, who’s usually a very calm, sweet dog, began to bark furiously. (continue)
