Oscar Nominees 2017 Captured In Beautiful Moodboards

The Oscars always awaken a certain dose of excitement in us. Which film will be this year’s winner? Who will prove to be the best actor and actress and who will take home the largest number of statuettes? We ask ourselves these questions and bet on our own favorites.

What makes a film stand out from others? Without a doubt it’s the outstanding directing, absorbing screenplay, fantastic acting, cinematography and music. But the best thing in movies is also that je ne sais quoi, what we feel when we find ourselves in unique places. This can be described as the aura, climate or atmosphere, but this is what we call the magic of the cinema.

One of the films that best describes this (and is also an Oscar winner) is Cinema Paradiso. The entrance into the cinema changes into the gate to another world, for a brief moment we can transport ourselves to a different place, time, and finally feel like someone else and allow ourselves to be captivated by the story.
