A couple of years ago, writer Ehud Lavski and illustrator Yael Nathan began creating short comics and uploading them to the internet. Not only their comics are thought-provoking, but they are also quite scary stories filled with incredible plot twists.
In hopes to find the audience that these short creepy stories resonate to, Ehud and Yael have submitted their works to us at Bored Panda, and we are proudly publishing them for you to see. The short stories already have been read quite a few million times, and many people seem to have strong emotional responses after reading them.

What an amazing storyteller! I want more! Your ideas are so original and fascinating. Mysterious, suspenseful, twist-endings, and WOW such beautiful creativity, who on earth wouldn't love these?! Rather than stick to one topic, you explore everything! Hats off! I will gladly pay some money to keep that world with the knight and shopkeeper alive again :P

Far from original really, but still cool. The one with the knight and shopkeeper is actually a book by Yahtzee called "Mogworld", check it out, it's really funny.

Ditto. What everyone else already said: these are fantastic! I love the unique style and the captivating story telling. So refreshing also, not another cutesy-like, 'relatable', poorly drawn, uninspired comic about mundane things. These are so creative and thought provoking. Love them.

Not even sure which is my favourite! "Ark"? Or "Midnight radio"? Is it "Nintendo"? God, they are all amazing stories! A must see for every panda! You are amazing comic creator duo! You don't deserve to have your works read just 10 million times! You deserve, like, a billion times!

Instead of letting him sacrifice himself, the being stopped the bullet because he was so brave, and then he left him to give the planet more time.

I feel like the one "Hug" has to do with deleting a video game save file. I could never delete a save file from a game I loved, because to me the people were still living in that world, and erasing it would be like erasing everything for them. But hey that's just my theory. Also I love all the references in the shop at the beginning. But I love all of these, these are the kinds of things I want to see. "Relatable" comics is cute and all but this really gets my mind going

These were great! Did anyone else have the takeaway from “Shh” that maybe that wasn’t the monster the the countdown brings but that it was trying to stop the boy from finishing the countdown and bringing the real monster?

"Test and "Cold Embrace" were really good. "Test" could be made into a movie? But, generally all were well made. This was what I commented last year. I don't know if you remember me as only now I noticed that a good few videos that I've commented on were taken down and this video was one of them. I remember the stories to be so.... so... they're so wonderful and intriguing. It's hard to put into words. Both "Test" and "Cold Embrace" though stand out to me as they did last year in 2018. They have this kind of a mystery and a really great mind provoking aura that makes you want to keep reading and watching to see how the story unfolds. They also have some kind of a sadness to them which fits perfectly. To everyone of them actually. This is kind of like the guy who made the comics on Batgirl and Supergirl. Those were great too. Well, I gotta go and save some more comments. I cared about these at that time and I'll remember them if you remember me.......

OMG before I read any more, I've got to comment on the first one, "Midnight Radio". This is an amazing, haunting, mysterious, atmospheric story that pulled me in and had me smiling at the end. Well done!

Hug reminded me of when City of Heroes’ servers went dark. It’s incredible how much is lost when a company pulls the plug on an MMO.

"Cold Embrace" reminds me of Faulkner's "Rose for Emily" and Poe's "Annabel Lee" The tagline to your work doesn't do it justice--these aren't twisted--they remind me of Twilight Zone and Poe's work--they are fantastical, supernatural, macabre....

I loved every single frame of this. The art, the details, the emotions on their faces... The sorting hat... All so incredible. But, as truly satisfying as it all was, my favorite part was the plumbus!

Really good, I couldn't stop reading untill I read them all. If you are interested in this kind of stories with unexpected twist and a bit of darkness, I suggest looking for False Positive webcomic.

This is terrific! i would subscribe. The last a very clever variation on The Monkee's Paw. The kid is Jewish?? The second ala Neverending Story. But all very original in style and effect. Publish a book!

The only thing that annoyed me was the last one. Only one girl in that group? And she doesn’t get to interact with any other girls and the group can’t have at least one other girl in it? Damn! You know it makes me think that because society is so damn sexist, that people don’t even blink when they see one girl in a group of guys, but if there is a group of women and only one guy, people question things. It’s b******t.

Most likely that is intentional. This story has a strong "Coming Of Age According To Stephen King" feel and inspiration, set on the early Nineties. The convention is, one girl on the group.
