For centuries, the eyes have been considered the human sense that is least easy to deceive, to mislead. After all, the ancients thought - there are two options, either I see something and it is there, or I don’t see it and it is not there. Hence the numerous expressions emphasizing the importance of vision in perceiving the world.

But not everything is actually that simple. There are numerous optical illusions that literally make our brain believe in something that doesn't actually exist. It’s just that under certain conditions the eyes are also capable of being deceived. And it's precisely these optical illusions that the eponymous Instagram page, a selection of the best postings of which we are offering you today, is dedicated to.

You have probably been familiar with one of the most popular optical illusions for almost ten years (my God, how time flies!) - it has even become a world-famous meme. Yes, that same dress from Tumblr that some people saw as white and gold, while others confidently claimed that it was blue and black.

Then, however, experts found out that the phenomenon was most likely related to the processing of the photo, as a result of which the white balance was disturbed - and different people began to see colors differently. For example, Taylor Swift, Demi Lovato and Justin Bieber thought that the dress was black and blue, but Julianne Moore and Sarah Hyland saw it as white and gold.

By the way, if you still don’t know, in fact, the dress is bright blue with black lace stripes...

"Optical illusions have actually been widely known to scientists and artists for at least several centuries," says Valery Bolgan, a historian and editor-in-chief of the Intent news agency from Ukraine, whom Bored Panda asked for a comment here. "For example, the great Spanish artist Salvador Dali actively used this phenomenon in his paintings."

"You can just look at the famous painting called Swans Reflecting Elephants, where the surreal view is emphasized by a kind of optical illusion. Another famous illusion that many of us may have encountered is the so-called 'Ames room'."

"American ophthalmologist Albert Ames designed it in the middle of the 20th century. It is a room in the form of a trapezoid, which is nevertheless perceived as rectangular. As a result, a person standing in one corner of it seems much smaller than the one standing in the opposite corner. An optical effect that is actively used in many attractions," Valery notes.

And the effect of optical illusion is also very popular with street artists these days, skillfully disguising an ordinary road or sidewalk as a staircase, parapet or even an entire dungeon. Bored Panda has written about the works of such masters more than once or twice - and every time it causes a real wave of admiration.

Well, we won't distract you any further from these beautiful optical illusions and the questions associated with them. By the way, if you have an answer to the question asked in that very picture with the sloth from Zootopia, you can leave it in the comments under this post. The correct answer is right here, only upside down. So just enjoy watching, reading and probably quizzing!

You only need the first three, top two mean six isn't there, third says two and zero are there, two must be right in the first, zero must go at the start, the only remaining place is the middle so it can't be one or else it would be in the right place.

First exclude 7, 3 and 8 Then you know 0 is one of the number from 380 From the to clues with 0, you know it's in the first place From 682 and 206 you know 2 or 6 is the second number From 682 and 614 you know it can't be 6, so 2 is in last place. Then the last number can only be 4 from 614, placed in the mittel.

204 is my best. But you really need a few more clues to be absolutely sure. We KNOW that 738 are all wrong numbers, so discard those.

For a moment I was stuck on what to do with 5 and 9, but luckily that fog lifted and I realized I don't need that info. It's 042 :)

362 this is the way to solve. Start at the bottom and move up through elimination and you the first number immediately.
