Russian Man Restores Child Pedal Vehicles From USSR-Times, And The Result Looks Amazing
Ruslan Kuchmenov is an incredible 56-year-old man from Nalchik, Russia, who searches for old pedal vehicles from USSR times and restores them back to their former glory.
Pedal cars for kids first appeared in the late 1880s, when Karl Benz introduced his three-wheel Patent Motorwagen for adults. By the early 1900s, pedal cars were widespread, especially in the United States, England, France, and Australia. Later on, they became really popular in the Soviet Union.
The pedal vehicles for kids were mostly produced at real car factories. For example, AZLK factory, which produced Moskvich, had its own section of pedal Mosckvich models.
Take a look at some of the restorations by Ruslan and let us know which one was your favorite.

Share on FacebookDefinitely not letting any kids and their grubby fingerprints near these.
I had one of these as a child! I thought I was a badass going as fast as I could. Great memories.
i had one too, only wasn't feeling much of a badass, considering that it was on my grandmas balcony, I only had like 4 meters to drive forward and reverse (no space to turn), any only witness of my near - miss - badassery was the Sun :) Ah all those precious memories :)
