With all of the advanced technology on the market these days, including the newly-released iPhone X, it's easy to lose sight of where it all began. A Best Buy flyer from 1994 has surfaced online, and when you see the cutting-edge stuff they were selling, you're either going to feel extremely old or wonder what the hell you're looking at.

From Packard Bell multimedia computer systems, to VHS camcorders, to Sony Walkmans, all the legends are here, and more. Remember your first cordless Motorola phone? How about the Super Nintendo you used to play with your friends after school? Don't forget the 'Lion King' soundtrack CD you used to blast from your compact stereo. It was truly a simpler time, one that existed in those magical years before we started meeting on Tinder, GPS-tracking each other on Snapchat, and uploading it all on Instagram. None of this rings a bell? Go ask your older sister, or just go back to texting.

Relive the glory days of commercial technology, and dive into the flashback of a flyer yourself below. Just don't say we didn't warn you about the major feels you may experience.

What about the 'park' command? :D We actually had to perform it - a command to physically stop the hard drive from running, otherwise we could get a fubar situation.

Well, mobile technology went some way. On the otherhand, if you compare a 1960s 10 tons supercomputer with your current phone and realize it easily outpaces it, things get even more serious

I remember having a pioneer car stereo deck installed in my 1979 camero. I bought a pair of two ways speakers and had them installed in the doors and a pair installed in the back. Played my fav 90's grunge tapes (Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, etc..) while cruising with my friends, and i had an adapter that allowed me to play cds thru the tape deck.. the good old days in high school

They charged that much because they could. It wouldn't be for another year or so (in my area) before CDs became the main music delivery system. In 1994, we were still calling music stores "record stores," even though the bulk of their stock was about 55% cassette tapes, 35% CDs, 9% vinyl records and 1% 8-tracks (a whole different class of scary music nerd).

I bought a microwave for ~$40 when I started college in 2009. Granted it was slightly smaller and probably a little less wattage but it worked fine. Most microwaves are under $80 I believe. A 900 Watt one should be easy to be had for under $80 current value.
