Among the major couriers, Amazon Logistics shipped 4.8 billion packages in 2022. To put that into perspective: Every single day, they dispatched 13.2 million packages, which is roughly equivalent to 547,945 per hour, 9,132 per minute and 152 per second. In 2022, the global average for parcels shipped per person was 42.

I received this in the mail a few days after Valentine's Day. It was addressed to me with no return address. The lid was sealed shut, and although I probably shouldn't have, I pried it open with a butter knife (I hope I'm not cursed), and a wooden box with an anatomically correct wooden heart was inside. You can buy similar things on Etsy and other online stores. Do I have an admirer with really poor taste, or is this something more sinister?

I received this in the mail today. A burned sage stick, a baby doll, and an old photograph of an elderly woman. No return address, and no friends or family owning up to sending it. Just a weird prank? I'm so confused.

Witch here! Idk if the op will ever see this but this is likely meant as a protection or exorcism of some kind. Sage is used in smudging rituals to cleanse/protect/purify. Dolls or poppets can be used for a number of things, but most commonly they're used as stand-ins for people or spirits, and it's thought that spirits are especially attracted to them for use as vessels; this is why games like "hide and seek by yourself" exist (a version of hide and seek where you summon a spirit into a doll and play hide and seek with it and generally regarded as dangerous). And finally, in using poppets or dolls, something to establisbh a bond or "link" to the doll may be used, such as a photo, hair, a piece of clothing, or other significant physical object. It also looks like this stuff was bound together in cloth with twine, and the doll's eyes have been deliberately blackened. My guess is this was part of a binding or banishing ritual; and I'm running out of character space so see part 2 below!
Such scams are more prevalent during the holiday season. People receive messages claiming they missed a delivery attempt. You are asked to click on a link to reschedule the delivery. Sometimes the scammers even try to create a sense of urgency by asking you to do it right away or else your package will be returned. However, when you click and enter your details, the fake website captures your personal information, which could be later used to steal your identity.

Update: While I was on my way home from work, my partner called me and told me that our downstairs neighbor was screaming about how we poisoned his dog, had been putting cameras in his place, and had been mind-controlling him. He then shouted at her while I was on the phone about how he wanted his keys back. So, I guess they were keys to his house? Also, he's totally insane, and I'm really glad we are moving next month.

I Received A Terrifying, Scary Note In My Mailbox
I opened my mailbox to find this weird and completely terrifying note. It definitely seems like the person writing this was writing with their other hand to not get recognized, and this is what scares me so much. I don't know anyone who could do this, and I haven't noticed anything strange recently. I did call my close friends, and they all advised me to go to the police, which I'm planning on doing as soon as I can, but I'm not sure what they can do. One thing for sure is that I'm not sleeping tonight. Do you think I'm overreacting?

All I have is that my dad lives out of town, where all the neighbors know each other, and he visits most of them regularly. I have three bunnies, and would consider myself a bunny mom. One day, I received this random package addressed to me at my front door. I guess I have also freaked out someone about three decades ago. I sent a postcard to abroad, to an address that may or may not have existed. Long story short, if you lived in Paris and received a postcard in the nineties, stating something about "wish for the universe and the skies, no more but no less," then sorry, my bad.
