Total BS. Mushrooms are of the Fungi classification of living, seperate from animals and plants but still under Eukaryotes. We know what they are and have studied them extensively. Yes, some individual species of mushrooms could grow and sustain itself indefinitely under ideal conditions and undisturbed. Yes, they contain life"saving properties, like thousands of plants, chemicals and even certain animals. They are closer to humans than to plants genetically but no, mushroom allergies are not due to that. It's a stupid post and clearly not by a biotech teacher.

My mum has alzheimers. Her writing is still fine but she used to be an English teacher and every time I see her spelling, crossing outs and grammar it breaks my heart. This is one of the very small ways the disease has effected her. She is now delusional and paranoid most of the time; nearly always terrified and anxious.
