I live near the lake Velence in Hungary, and as i do photographing night landscapes, i know it’s very easy to use the frames for a time lapse video, too. Since i moved here in 2016, i shot some scenes, so after a while, the idea came that these sould be tailored into a video, showing the beauty of the nights around the lake – which, as you can see, also worth to see it yourself :) . In the final cut, we walk around the lake, and show some interesting places at the lake, or in the area.

The first scene (almost the last in the video :D ) was taken in 2016, and the last scene in 2020. No cutting edge technology was used – a Canon 1100D, with Sigma 17-70 and 70-300 lenses, tripod – but the most important was to be out there, and get the right shot. And of course, relax some hours in the calm night while the camera was working :)

The editing was done with free software : Rawtherapee, Gimp, Hugin, and Kdenlive.
