This artist is dope as a whole if you look up his stuff, but something about that super pink and plastic shít just looks cliche to me in a way I can’t unsee. The rest of his works that aren’t so Barbie tryhard are actually pretty artistic and cool. I take no issue with the bored rich girl vibe but something about the execution here is too chintzy and rubbery. And this is from someone who is OBSESSED with lacquer and lucite and 80s and gaudiness (me). But eh, this doesn’t do it for me. Too much hardcore photoshop.
