Celestine and the Hare is a favorite page on facebook. I always look forward to seeing what shednanigans are brewing in her magical world. And the creatures never fail to bring a smile. Her books are charming and have a lesson for children of all ages, plus lots of love inside. And she gives a lot to her community by providing books for children, some of whom have never had one of their very own. Her group of chokliteers span the globe, and are all norty, mischievous and kind, just like King Norty, Emily, Baby Weasus, and Small.

Karin Celestine is a creator of magic and sharer of kindness; she is also, by the by, a spreader of mirth, of ’nortiness’ and a soother of souls. As if this wasn’t enough, she loves cake and chokklit and once you have seen, or read, her creations, resistance is futile. She never fails to make me smile or have a little cry (in a good way) or both. So happy to have discovered her and her extraordinary world of the tribe. X
