I Knitted A Son And Husband For Myself As A Joke And People Thought It Was Real

I am a professional knitter from Amsterdam who likes to knit cool things for my brand Club Geluk. We knit realistic everyday stuff with lots of details and even wrote a couple of books about it. We knit hams, TVs, plants – all sorts of funny and unique design things. A few years ago, I thought of knitting my son. He liked it, and we worked together on it.

The reactions during the process were so diverse – from creepy to beautiful – that we decided to take some photos of this impersonation in real life to place the weirdness in context.

I posted it online telling people I knitted him because he reached puberty, did not want to cuddle anymore and therefore I knitted a new son. It went viral, and people thought it was real. But it was just a fun family art project.

We wanted to set the bar a little higher regarding my knitting skills. I thought of knitting my son all grown up and knitting an ex-husband. So the story continues: The son is now grown up and left home. My husband left me after I knitted my son for the first time, a few years ago. So I knitted a grown-up son and a new and improved husband.

This is really amazingly dedicated work. Is it wrong of me to suggest that she see a therapist?

I might be wrong but it looks to me that she "just" knitted a full head mask (don't know a better english word for it), gloves and shoes for them. The men are wearing it, posing for her. Great work and very funny, nevertheless!

That is funny. She is truly a knit wit. Wait... why does that sound wrong...?

I've never seen a woman who wants to cuddle with her fully grown son.

I wonder if she's done "it" with her husband and even made him anatomically correct...

I basically make about $6,000-$8,000 a month online. It’s enough to comfortably replace my old jobs income, especially considering I only work about 10-13 hours a week from home. I was amazed how easy it was after I tried it….. ===))> 𝐖𝐰𝐰.𝐅𝐮𝐥𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤.𝐂𝐨𝐦

Awesome! But you can tell its people wearing masks etc: look at the closeup of her and her husband, you can see a bit of the neck.
