I always thought growing up after a nuclear disaster nothing would grow. It still amazes me the life that has taken over.

If there's a wall to be built, should be round here, to avoid animals get affected by radiation. Influencers... not much concerned about them.

Of course nature wins. Nature ALWAYS wins... in the long run. The problem is the price in "beings" species on the way and that himans are guilty of making that hard fight for nature even necessary (Not talking about natural castrophies of course)

I don't know how cold that area of the world gets. But it looks like a lot less growth that I would expect after 30 years. Wooden window frames fall apart here in about 15 years, as in moss and rot grow them into different shapes and the glass falls out. We never see the miscarriages of mammals, nor the deformed ones that don't survive.

I watched a documentary once that theorized what would happen in humans suddenly disappeared from earth. The conclusion: it would only take about 500 years for nature to completely erase the fact that we had ever been here.

Nature and life is far more resilient than most give it credit for. Things are certainly not the same because the ecosystem has changed but as we can easily see life goes on.

It quite horrifying that people would 'glorify' Pripyat going 'back to wild' it's not 'back to wild' or 'winning over construction' the poor animals that live there, still eat radioactive food, and have a high number of birth defects and serious health problems. There's no insects there. So as much as a pretty picture it may make, it's on us as humans, these animals suffer because of the contamination that humans created. So think about that when you're looking at your pretty pictures. It's not fit for them to live any more than it's fit for us, and we should feel awful that we made this mess that they have to live in.

Reminds me of the "Ice Age" predicted in the 70's, and Al Gore and his "The Arctic will be ice free in 10 years, NYC under water, Miami drowned, no snow in England, More BIGGER hurricanes, our population was suppose to starve to death because we couldn't feed the planet in the 60/70's. ALL A LOAD OF BS because they have no idea, they are all just guessing. Funny how they always guess wrong or try to use models that say "in 100 years". It's ALL A SCAM to control our pathetic lives. Mother nature, left alone will destroy all traces of mankind in a mere 30-50 years. Just watch "Life without people."

This is so sad, looking at the deserted wreck of Pripyat and Chernobyl. It’s reassuring to see how nature has taken over.

Life always finds a way

It looks like a warning: this is how whole Earth will look like unless you human stop ruining it. I can see it as sf movie about disaster future.
