The current situation in the world forces us to self-isolate ourselves within four walls. And among many things that we long for, nature would probably be at the top of the list. Just imagine—walking in the park with our loved ones, going on Sunday picnics with our friends, building sandcastles on the beach... That’s a luxury that we cannot afford yet.
One artist decided to help us to cope with the current situation and transport us to magical forests, flower fields, and gardens. Tara Jane Crandon is a self-taught artist and psychologist from Brisbane, Australia who creates mesmerizing illustrations inspired by nature. “I love painting pathways and journeys buried in nature that transport onlookers into their imagination,” writes Crandon on her website.
Her vivid illustrations are extremely detailed and stunning, depicting the magical side of nature. It makes us appreciate nature even more and gives us a sudden urge to get lost in the forest. Or I am the only one feeling this way?
