Nature Gets Interesting With My New Phone.

I got a new phone in July. It was a Xiaomi Mi 4i. While exploring my new awesome phone, I noticed the camera had a manual mode. It let me set the focus, shutter speed and ISO settings; at least it looked like it did. It was like having a DSLR but with sliders on the LCD screen rather than dials and parts for setting.
The focus setting on this device was amazing. I could take macro shots so beautifully. It had a 13 megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture.

The first few images I took, were of insects in my garden. I used the macro focus range and it was so amazing that all of a sudden I was roaming around in my locality finding insects to capture with my phone. People found it weird that I was always staring at plants whenever they found me. However none of it went waste as I found the most creepy, beautiful insects, with details that I had never cared to know about.

I found a plant-hopper (Not sure if it is one) at my garden which was just a few millimeters long, with details that I could not observe with my eyes. I found it had an amazing green design on its white body. I found it few days later in another city when I was ‘staring at plants’ at a relative’s place. This time it was a bigger on but same white-green design. And when I observed it after 2 days, the same insect had the green design, become greener than I initially observed. Though not a scientific discovery, I found it amazing to know this fact. I also found a small tiny fly, which seemed to have antelope-like horn structure on its head.

It’s amazing how the smallest details of nature are so fascinating.

I could observe nature, now that I had something to view it with.

The tiniest of beings were now so large on my screen

their minutest details were so fascinating…

Some of them looked like they wanted to be photographed

A white-green insect I saw in my garden and was amazed at. So tiny and yet so detailed.

And then I find the same species at another place so far away from home.

And then I captured another image of it only to observe that it gets ‘Greener’ as time passes.

It’s like it too the motto ‘Go Green’ literally!

And then this spider back home. It seemed to have barbed legs.

And a few days later I find it on the same plant, all grown up.

And then this tiny bug that was the antelope of the insect world.
