Man Finds A Mystery Box In Dumpster, And What He Saw Inside Still Hasn’t Been Explained
Reddit user TramStopDan found a handmade wooden box in a dumpster. On the face of things, the box didn’t look very unusual – it had hinges, a handle, and a pair of locks. But that all changed when he opened it and discovered stacks of papers featuring diary entries about flying saucer visits in the late 1960s to 1980, plus a whole bunch of other crazy stuff like drawings of biblical creatures.
That’s pretty odd, but things got odder, and this is why the box was coined “The Box Of Crazy.” He discovered sketches of UFOs and heavenly four-headed entities appearing to be from the Biblical book of Ezekiel, plus creatures with wings, and other drawings that blended the divine and the extraterrestrial. However, the contents of the box didn’t just stop at aliens, because TramStopDan then found some non-patented drawings of train wheels and hand-drawn maps from the late 1930s, which were marked with a pinhole in the center.
When these mind-blowing sketches, writings, and maps were shown on Reddit, the internet immediately started asking questions: why were they placed in a box and shoved in a dumpster; did their artist witness another dimension; are they the ramblings and rantings of a crackpot; why has TramStopDan created just this post since signing up; were they just a hoax to get people talking?
The answers are inconclusive, but one thing is for sure – the Internet sure seems to like what the “Box Of Crazy” had in store for it. Let us know what you think about its contents in the comments below. (h/t: demilked)
‘This is the Box of Crazy. Roughly 29″ by 38″ on the exterior. It smells of basements and dampness’
‘Most pieces are around 20″ x 30″, a number of the pages in here are blank’
‘Text on a poster (with corrections). I feel that I should comment on the content, but I really don’t know what to say about this’
‘Nicely lettered and drawn’ periodic classification of the elements
‘Technical Drawings: This is by far the most interesting piece for my tastes. It looks like a patent application, quite large and very detailed’
‘The other technical drawing. Still not crazy.’
‘Map obsession: Cool map of airline routes’
‘They all have a hole in the middle, perhaps to be overlaid on something else.’
‘Personal items: Letter, I can’t make much out’
‘Perhaps the letter is in Danish or another language from that part of the world’
‘A clue! Perhaps military service in WWII?’
‘Begin the crazy: Now things start to get a little odd. It seems that the artist saw something in Tampa, FL in 1977 that changed him’
‘This appears to be an early sketch of the event’
‘A rendering of one of the entities’
‘An obvious blending of the religious and the extraterrestrial’
‘An explanation of the subsequent slide’
‘Clearly, the artist is drawing upon his mechanical drawing skills to attempt to render the vision’
‘This is the culmination of the canonization of forms and all the placement studies. Here the artist reaches his peak and the vision is rendered. Nirvana’

Share on FacebookI think that is exactly what this is. Maybe someone was planning on writing a book and these are there notes?
This post fails to mention that this story is about four years old. Some accounts have TramStopDan finding the box on the side of the road in North Carolina instead of in a dumpster. The Reddit post "Daniel Christiansen History Thread [OFFICIAL]" was posted three years ago compiling the known information of the author of the contents of the box. https://www.reddit.com/r/alienpumaspacetrain/comments/1pw7u6/daniel_christiansen_history_thread_official/
David Halperin writes that it was reportedly found by the side of a road near Asheville, NC: http://www.davidhalperin.net/tag/daniel-christiansen/ But since TramStopDan writes in his original post that his friend found it by the dumpster (very end of http://imgur.com/a/uCSg1), I'd trust that more.
Load More Replies...Is this one of them fake discovery marketing campaign like they did with The Blair Witch Project?
I love alternative facts. They change amphitheaters into "anti-erosion walls" and swimming pools into "fire pools" - whatever that may be. Just ask #Zuma
"hand-drawn on a clear-ish plastic-like material" That's vellum. Specifically, paper vellum. My dad was an architect and used it all the time in his office. It's translucent like tracing paper, but much more durable.
It looks like the guy drew what the first verses of the Book of Ezekiel were conveying.
I thought exactly the same! I just read Hezekiel. Great, that somebody else already mentioned it, thank you :)
there is a group called "the mysterious package company" that intentionally puts interesting, strange packages together for fun, and you can order a package to be sent to a family member or friend for fun. I have a subscription, and honestly this looks like something they might put together in the past. Who knows?
The drawing regarding the Tampa Bay Tornado is actually of the old St. Petersburg Pier that stretched out into Tampa Bay. I lived in St. Pete for many years and often spent my days off at a tiny beach attached to the beginning of the pier. :-) Aerial_sho...e27e1a.jpg
So, I guess that old pier was really built as a landing pad.
Load More Replies...It definitely looked like one. haha. And the new design also resembles a landing pad too. ;-) see pic attached dest11-588...539e32.jpg
https://www.mysteriouspackage.com/ possibly. Friend of mines daughter received packages from them. Pretty believable from what I'm told.
The letter is definately Danish, from a Danish publishing house, maybe a letter of rejection to a Danish expat in the US trying to have his manuscript on an extraordinarysubject - Erik von Däniken-like perhaps (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erich_von_Däniken) - what a weird treasure
The letter is not Danish - but English - only the envelope and the post stamp/mark is from Denmark
Load More Replies...No, it's not in Norwegian. For instance, it says "oprindelse" (Danish spelling), not "oprinnelse" (Norwegian spelling). Also, all the place names on the envelope are Danish. (I'm Danish.)
I have seen similar drawing. All they look something like Vimana (ancient Indian flying machines) and the angels corresponds with Nephilims. Thats not crazy fantasy, that's far more interesting...
This guy should have written sci fi books w/ drawings. I mean, excellent art pieces. Don't know what it is, but I love it.
This reminds me of the Voynich Manuscript mixed with Codex Seraphinianus. Weird.
Those pictures from Tampa are of the old St Petersburg pier. It looked like an inverted pyramid. It was not that old. It housed some shops, bars & restaurants and an aquarium.
They kind of look like the real descriptions of Angels or maybe Annunaki carvings.
Those two are Seraphim from the Bible but ulos are not real. Allthough should Reqd about Ezekiel story From Bible to know this...
No nirvana. Heaven. Those wingful creatures are Seraphim from the Bible. Ufos not True. There writer must miss some point. Heaven is real.
Real or fake. I don't know but is sounds like it was written by someone very intelligent. But as it goes on could this be a decent into madness?
In the Christian Bible, these images appear in a vision given to a prophet, exactly as they are shown here.
I finally found out who this belong to. Josef F. Blumrich who is an artist and engineer who worked for NASA. This is his original work.
for anybody wondering the floating rings-inside-rings things are probably depictions of one of the visions Isiah had. (the one with heaven's hosts. Seraphim were flying around too, and there were things that had 'wheels within wheels',) The text sounds like some early UFO-apologists notes. granted, the notion that aliens are using watervapor as a cover is somewhat amusing today.
The mystery box was mean to be found. I guess that the person who did that wanted to spread the truth about what is happening to our world now.. It just a theory. Pls dont kill me
The living creatures faces are supposed to face in four different directions. It looks like the eagle is posing, and the ox isn't right
to me it looks like an unpublished author collecting ideas and starting to write things down
It suspect that "Aliens" are a HIGH PROBABILITY given how HUGE our universe is, with so many planets.... Maybe some angels & messengers from God can arrive in heavenly ships that defy our understanding....
I believe this may have been intentionally put where it would be found. There is a global "alien invasion" being planned by the global oligarchy to unite us as a global unity and is all part of the New World Order they are trying desperately to usher in with the oligarchy as little more than a RULING CLASS supported by the U.N.. Anyone who's been paying attention already knows all about this. The problem is, we are a minority. The powers that be will (and HAVE been) use Blue Beam technology to put on a splendid holographic show in the skies. Some will be extraterrestrial, some will be of a religious theme and nature depending on the geographic demographic of the area. For more information on this go to Youtube and search "Disclosure project" or "Dr. Steven Greer - alien invasion hoax".
For the map of the earth that draw like flowers is actually, for my opinian is a map that shows a mystery places or underground bases that he could be discovered.Try to make another copy of that map n cut the map n try to connect the 12 edges.I am sure that we can get a full earth formation. And finally we can see the marked area
Go read the start of Ezekiel in the Bible. That "ufo" is described nicely there and seems where the artist got the inspiration from.
Am I the only way be that REALLY wants the wooden case? I love the used vintage look! 🤓👍🏻💼
I just read the Secret History of Twin Peaks! This reminded me of it so much!
The upside down structure in Tampa is the old St Pete pier. Tearing it down now.
It is a product of Lysergic acid diethylamide dreams circa the 1960's. . .

Great artwork, very interesting. The fact that the entities have cloven hooves does not bode well, heh heh.

pretty sure that letter is in english since I saw the words "clouds" "20 years since" "and" "drawings" "the" "with" and so on. But that handwriting sure is awful hahah
I am betting my money on a marketing thing that creates a bit of mystery and interest and buzz and will solve the mystery with another product we should totally buy...
Book of Ezekial--it is part of God's Throne/Chariot that the prophet sees in his divine vision.
It's clever....aged paper, silly drawings, "notes"..... Probably someone's attempt to create buzz for a graphic novel or game design? Someone should sent it to Nick Bantock. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, after all.
