In evey year, i try to catch many Perseid shooting stars. Perseids are the largest shooting star shower, and they always worth to see them. And it comes, that it’s not to hard. Summer nights are usually comfortable to go below the night sky and dream under the stars, so many people are wtaching the light streams running down from the sky.
Also me, so in this post i collected the last 3 years catches. There are not so many, as i can or cannot go out at the right time, and you also must have a luck to have a shooting star before your lens while the camera is capturing a frame. And sometimes you have a bad weather, or, for example, full moon.
But anyway, even if you have seen or not a shooting star, it is a great relaxation to spend some hours in the starry night. :)
In 2020, i went to Lake Velence, which is near where i live. There is a lookout tower at the western end of the lake, the shots were mande from there. (This part of the lake is mostly covered by reed.) 3 shooting stars caught :)
2019, the moon was full while i was able to go out to take pictures, so pictures were taken to Golden Bull statue at Szekesfehervar, because it haven’t worth to search a better location. Only one star caught…
In 2018, i took pictures at the beach of Gárdony at Lake Velence, which was one of the greatest night shooting for me :) I caught 2 falling stars :)
