I am a mom to six who loves to sew. I began sewing for my daughters but now they are too cool for handmade. I would love to start a real business by making children's clothing. My husband works hard to support all 8 of us and I want to help him out! Plus, being able to earn a real income by doing what I love would be AMAZING! Any tips, advice, criticism?
I am self taught and have come a long way in the 8 years I have been sewing! I love creating fun and whimsical designs for parties and photo shoots. People always tell me I should have a shop or a clothing line but it hasn't been easy for me to get the word out! I know my fellow Pandas will help me with great advice!

I saw all the images and these were absolutely gorgeous. They look too haute couture to be called handmade and uncool. Maybe your kids are older now? I would say that kids of these ages are your perfect target as you sure know that one already. Maybe a shop idea for theme dresses? Because kids have lots of get together and school events, costume parties, birthday parties etc, so these would be great for that. Advertise both online and else. An offline shop or just aupply stfaight from your workstation and home delivery option is something you can work out depending upon your suitability and accessibility. And great work. Xx Isa A.
