My mother: "I'm so sick of you blaming ME!" -- Mom, you literally used to beat me daily, told me I'd grow up to be a white-trash gutter-scum alcoholic junkie like my bio mother, told me I should be "grateful" you adopted me, and one pressed a gun to my throat when I was 6 and told me you'd kill me if my dad left on a business trip (as if I had any control over that.) So yes. I DO blame you XD
Words I've actually spoken - "It's like you have a big bucket of sh|t strapped to your chest and you twist and turn constantly, but when anyone tries to help you shout "MINE!" and hang on for dear life."
Fast predators make for faster prey, and those are all crucial job skills.
Learning to love yourself is like a quadratic equation because you have to solve multiple problems simultaneously while missing crucial information.
I wondered why a meme article on BP could be at -2 score (that's what it's at as I am writing this comment.) Now I know. Yikes. A lot of these are of the "you should be GRATEFUL for BEING ALIVE/what you DO have" variety and that's... literally the kind of stuff my mom has said to me since childhood, which is the kind of attitude that, you guessed it, contributed to my suicidal ideation and other mental health issues XD
I'm actually, honestly confused by your comment, because to me most of these sound quite dark-humour-ish and not at all like "be grateful for what you have"? Except maybe two or three (especially the on that's last right now) I don't understand why you feel that way. Have the posts changed since you commented? Would you let me know which ones you find worst? I am honestly interested in understanding your perspective!
Load More Replies...I'm guessing the entries shifted since it's at -3 but these are actually pretty good and seem unrelated to older comments
