Looks like a member of the mantis family, so I wouldn’t be scared at all, and it’s definitely NOT horrific. Praying Mantis is my all-time favorite insect. Dragonflies and big fat bumble bees are tied for second, if you were curious.

Not horrific, and I say that as someone who has been clipped by crab claws that actually drew blood, and a lot of it. Stepped on a crab when I was 9, and the claw sliced that bit of web between my big toe and the toe next to it. Sliced all the way through it, like a pair of sharp scissors. Hurt like hell, but healed up just fine, and crazy fast for some reason (maybe because I was 9?).

I think it's hilarious how scared of spiders the average person is. But then they see giant sea-spiders and their mouth waters. 🤣

Looks like a blue glaucus or blue dragon a venomous sea slug that is dangerous to humans. Leave the cute little sea creatures alone, u never know what u have, like the idiots who pick up the cute little blue ringed octopus they see in a tide pool.

Oh I just saw something like this in a Florida couples home after hurricane Ian. The independent insurance adjuster said they need over 200k in repairs including a new roof. The desk adjuster illegally changed it, per companies instruction, to 15k, after the deductible they got 9,000 and two years later they still have not been able to afford a roof and now have molds like this growing inside the house. It was a coordinated effort of several insurance companies to defraud victims of hurricane Ian.
