Harry Potter vs. Mr. Bean
There's too much Mr Bean in this list. That's what makes it too good 😊
One of the things that sets PixelFaker's work apart is their ability to blend different films together seamlessly. They are able to take characters from different genres, eras, and universes and make them interact in a way that feels natural and believable. This is no easy feat, but the artist's skill and attention to detail make it look effortless.
The Shining vs. Ice Age
Pulp Fiction vs. Wednesday
Bored Panda got in touch with PixelFaker again to learn more about their creative process and themselves! Firstly, we asked how their journey as an artist started and whether they tried any other forms of art! PixelFaker said that they're exploring different mediums all the time to this very day. "I used to make caricatures and funny drawings in several newspapers, which were published in print. Hand drawings in black and white style."
Bill And Ted vs. Back To The Future
Mr. Bean vs. Hannibal
After being asked how they came up with the idea to create movie mash-ups, the artist replied that when they were actively working as a freelance graphic designer, unfortunately, there came a point when they were completely burnt out. "That's when I started going in a different direction, where I could be my own boss."
The Wizard Of Oz vs. Joker
Lunch Atop A Skyscraper vs. Spider-Man
The most challenging part of the creative process for PixelFaker is to acquire the visual material, "I always look for high-resolution scenes, but this is difficult with an old film."
The artist gets their ideas from imagination and... well, fantasy. "If I can, I watch a lot of movies/series, but sometimes I only look at their movie posters, and then the parody is born."
Groot vs. Mona Lisa
The Ring vs. Ted
PixelFaker revealed that everything they do is coming from their heart. "If I can make people smile, it already means something."
