It's impossible to imagine a Batman vs. Spiderman movie. No, not because you can't imagine it, but because the IPs belong to competing studios. And it's a shame we can't see how Batman would fare against Spiderman. But there are ways to see it, you just have to look at it more creatively.

Enter Pixelfaker, a Photoshop enthusiast who has made thousands of fans with their photo edits. The artist makes the impossible possible, and Ace Ventura can venture into Jurassic Park, Mr. Bond can go up against Mr. Bean, etc., etc. It's the third iteration in the overall series, and you can check out the first two here and here.

Pixelfaker is a freelance graphics artist that enjoys reading or doing anything creative. But there's not much known about the artist and the rest is shrouded in mystery, as they prefer not to share the details of their personal life and refuse to give a sneak peek behind the creative curtain. The artist believes that it's the end result that's important.

RELATED:

"I've been doing it for more than 20 years, either as a graphic designer behind projects or in this more humorous form. I'm always learning something new or discovering some technical routine. I like to educate myself.

Though most of these films are something I grew up on, the ’90s were decisive. I have time, I watch all the new films, I follow the new releases. There's always something new to inspire me. I really like the Marvel universe, but DC is interesting too. There's not a lot of new movies lately, so I'm trying to go towards older cult movies and put them alongside the characters of the present. I also love the TV shows, my absolute favorite is Family Guy."

Such digital art may not be taken seriously, but once you get to know Pixelfaker, you realize that there's a philosophy behind it. "Art is not what you see, but what you make others see," said Pixelfaker, quoting Edgar Degas. "My favorite thing about art is when ideas come one after the other. Wings of fantasy, I like to call them. And my least favorite part is when I have no ideas. Then I have to stop and do something else. I never do anything by force."

The artist hasn't been specific as to how they do their magic, they shared one necessary skill to do all of this. "The power of imagination, and knowing how to communicate it. Let your creativity be your weapon, create, create, because many people see their true reality through art. And you can make this world a better, more valuable place."

The key driving interest for the artist to see the creative process through is "seeing how characters look when they swap places with other characters or are placed in scenes they don't belong in." Without a doubt the artist personally enjoys discovering the result. Pixelfaker really likes it when people enjoy their edits too, and it's the main reason why the artist keeps making them.

Last time we shared Pixelfaker's work, they promised to keep evolving these worlds and involve more universes in these mashups. Though the gist of it remained the same, there are noticeably more bold combinations that seem to fall out of the usual pattern.

If you want to check out more wondrous Photoshop magic, Bored Panda has plenty to offer in the Digital Art sections. Some artists, unlike Pixelfaker, like to keep the process as open as possible, and show how they edited the initial photo. The Kardashians are a universe on their own, and some people like to jab at this fact by photoshopping themselves into their universe. And there's plenty more, just check out the section.

Pixelfaker has been very busy in other areas. He downplays his plans, but we believe it's an awesome goal. "I want to teach graphics, design to others... I'm working on how I can do that. Exciting, isn't it?"

The artist even gave a special message to you, our fellow readers. "Thank you for having me here. I know it's hard sometimes, but let's always be cheerful and positive. Remember, the world is what we make it. Have a great day, guys."

I like Johnny. He's a dumb, self obsessed lunk and terrible at talking to women, but somehow endearing for his simpleness.
