Thank you. So terribly sad. I don't usually cry when a celebrity passes away, although Robin Williams and Alan Rickman still make me cry, but I cried and am still weepy about Luke Perry. Others in entertainment have shared what you have, decent, humble, kind. The world is poorer for his passing.

I loved his performance as the "psychic" conman on an episode of Leverage. He was also one heck of a Side Show Luke Perry on the Simpsons....

I always felt like he was the coolest character - in the sense that as a real person he just seemed like a great person.

They're people playing roles in stories and worlds people wish they were a part of. When they play their role, well, they can touch your heart and people can't help that reaction of idolization. Like how kids get excited when a fireman visits or sees someone in a superhero outfit. It's just human nature. Even celebrities get star struck over other celebrities. Sometimes at the same time when meeting each other.

I am inclined to agree, or I should say I was at one point inclined to agree. Then I was less than 10 feet away from Robert Plant (A man I have obsessed over for many years and my favorite singer of all time) and I cried like a b***h. Not just during his performance either, I cried for months afterwards every time I heard a Led Zeppelin song and I listen to Led Zeppelin a lot so it was on a very regular basis. I have seen a lot of bands in person, been right at the front for some of my favorites and really enjoyed myself. But when Robert Plant I finally saw Robert Plant I crumbled like a cookie.
