I Invited Artists From All Around The World To Draw Monsters Based on My Kids’ Drawings (30 Pics)
All the characters in my picture book “Monsters Go Night-Night” are based on monster drawings my son Elijah made when he was 4 and 5 years old. The designs are my Elijah fan art tribute.
When the book released a few years ago, to celebrate, I invited other artists to also re-imagine Elijah's original monster drawings in fan art. HUNDREDS of illustrations came in. I created a Twitter account, Instagram account, and hashtag #MonstersGo and have continued posting weekly monster prompts, now provided by all six of my kids.
There are currently around 1,250 pieces of MonstersGo artwork that have been created by artists from all over the world! Here are a few examples.

:/ didn't really do what the kid drew. The kid didn't draw a bird, she drew a cute little big-eyed monster with feet and a talking top hat
It looks like one of those fur balls from club penguin (don’t hate I forgot the name)

I would totally like to see movies and TV shows based on these characters! Maybe one with all of them in it..
I hope he encourages his kids to continue to draw. They are good for kids so young
Gracie is talented. If she keeps on practicing, she'll become a great illustrator or visual artist.
I really like a lot of your son's originals better than the reimagined ones. Your son has talent.
