Hi! I'm an Italian freelance illustrator, at the moment living in Mexico City. I work with magazines by mail, mostly for USA, Italia, and Mexico. I work in mixed media traditional plus digital program.
Some time ago I shared some of my works with you. Now I present the new illustrations that I made in the years after the first post.
Some were made on commission for magazines and others are personal work.

well for instance i use facebook to keep in touch with relos across the country. it is far easier to post some smiling photos and a couple of happy statuses than have someone call me every couple of days and try to not sound miserable, exhausted and burnt out

That's true for many people.. They try to show how good and interesting their life is but they often don't really enjoy what they do. I was trying myself to be at least a little popular on instagram, was taking pics of cool food, tried to make good selfies etc, but tbh.. i got bored of it, i was finding my pics pretty but didn't have so many 'likes' like some of my friend had, so i just deleted insta and I'm enjoying my life even better now! But for many people insta isn't like on the picture tho. :)

my baby had to be operated at 7 months. I did not spend a single euro on it. the money comes from the taxes I and others pay every year. I'm so glad my taxes will pay for other babies and old/ sick people in the future. That's why I llike our french healthcare system (even if it's not perfect). In america, I can't begin tio imagine what I sould have collected to pay that kind of operation!

I put some of the blame on that creepy Kardashian clan. First the sex tape then the giving birth thing where she pulls the baby out by herself and then came the a*s thing and then to top it off Bruce became a woman or at least 1/2 a woman at 65. All I have to say is I'm glad Roseanne is back on TV. I'd rather watch a bunch of funny white trash then the Kardashian freak show. Can you imagine what they will look like in 20 yrs...OMG

Ladies and Gentlemen- I'm sorry, but your information is flawed. Comparing Australia and US in gun control is an apples vs oranges argument. Totally different community, and circumstances. There were never as many guns in Australia as there are in the US, there we never as many mass shootings. Australia does, however, have an issue with crime. Particularly with knife crime. There are also a LOT less people in Australia; population of 24 million. The distribution of guns already throughout the US is huge, the criminals will not give up those weapons, you're naive if you think they will. The focus needs to be on mental health, on child protection, on bullying inside and outside of school. Get to the root of the issue; it isn't a gun problem, it's a community health problem. To think otherwise is foolish.

By definition on Google: Capitalism: an economic and political system in which a country's trade and industry are controlled by private owners for profit, rather than by the state. Capitalist: a wealthy person who uses money to invest in trade and industry for profit in accordance with the principles of capitalism. You could technically use "capitalists" here rather than "capitalism", but you seem to be implying that the two words mean the same thing. Capitalism is the system itself, whereas capitalists are those who follow the system. My apologies if I misunderstood your comment, I just wanted to make sure you understood.

My immediate association for this pic was something else - I felt like society has sunk low enough to the point that a person would watch with a bored face a reality TV show ( Big brother style) of prisoners suffer in jail. Even more specifically the prisoner is trying to reach for help from the "healthy" part of society but gets blocked by a transparent wall and a bored face.

Can you just not ? Sexy by definition is being attractive, it's a chemical reaction. Yes you are not sexually attracted by a woman you don't know if she is wearing nothing that shows how she is ? And playboy is a huge symbol for the sexy, so yeah you don't show sexy with a pair of jeans and a huge jumper, as much as you don't show sexy by dressing a man under a huge jumper hiding his abs. The goal in sexy, it's to be attractive in a physical way. Ofc you can be attracted in a less intense way, but the word sexy, means what it is. You think that dress makes slutty ? Good for you, not everybody does. Actually, the idea of slutty cloths has been created of jealous women, and men that can't manage to hit on a girl they like, so out of fustration. Sexy is a symbol, a concept, get over it complaining about litterally everything.

I am loving all your works, but especially this one. I think it's an especially brave thing to state the truth especially when it's one that not everyone wants to hear. There is countless evidence (probably listed in the article you did this for) to link the adoption of extremism with troubled individuals disconnected from the rest of the religious Muslim community. They end up finding ISIS propaganda online and they think it is their chance at instant salvation and it could not be farther from the truth. The truth is that the more that (Muslims) are involved, engaged with their local Muslim community, the significantly less likely they are to have anything to do with extremism. Every mosque I know of actually reports individuals with blatant extremist views to the proper authorities. We do not take intentions of violence lightly. So again, thank you for this piece!

This is sharp and true. Young people feel alienated and lonely even among their peers. This is also relevant for those, who live in Europe. They are not fully accepted by people in Europe and they don't fully belong to their world, as they are a part of European society. So they find something they can relate to in ISIS. Their magazine (Dabiq) promises to potential followers a feeling of belonging and unity as well as a common aim and wealth.

That's not what hypochondria is. It's when people are convinced they're terribly ill without any real basis (or exaggerate a mild disease like a cold), truly believe it until the point they actually get symptoms (nocebo effect), don't believe doctors when they say they're fine, demand to be given treatment and insist on taking medicine they don't need.

It's a reference to prostitution. The 'Venus' is reduced to work the streets because of the failing of today's society and the Venus becomes a rich person's 'Private Venus'. We know they are rich because of the fancy hood ornament. You can even see the her pose is one of embarrassment as opposed to the open yet humble depictions of the Venus in the renaissance, suggesting a fall from grace, or a realization of her own inadequacy. She's 'caught in the head lights' of of her unfortunate decision.
