So mommy disconnected the wifi to stop him from gaming wanting him to focus more on his written work. Oh Yeah! Some parents don't know that they can do this... If your kid is a brat and screws off on the internet when they should be doing their school work, you turn off the internet, hide the modem/router, take the phone, the TV, computer and game console away. Drag their butt to the library and see if they have up to date Thesaurus, Encyclopedia, and Dictionary. Present child with book materials then tell them they can have their precious toys back when their work is completed, their bedroom is clean, and the trash taken out. If they fuss, tell them if they don't comply then they can spend the next seven days in the dark ages with no Twitter or tik tok to comfort them. Some parents here have been talking about how their kids are lazy and won't go to school and if the parents try and make them go, the kids say they'll tell school counselors that they are being abused at home. Kids actually blackmailing their parents so they can sit around doing nothing but sitting on social media...
