This astounding gingerbread house was made by Los Angeles-based artist Christine McConnell. She’s well known for her edible artworks that are both intriguing and terrifying.

The artist baked this gingerbread cookie house to be displayed at a screening of the new Tim Burton film ‘Miss Peregrine’s home for Peculiar Children’. The creepy artwork is double-sided and has a clock along the bottom which runs backward to compliment the movie’s topic of time travel.

And you know what the best part about this unique artwork is? This movie set piece 100% edible.

The fun thing about a gingerbread house, is that it actually looks like tasty Gingerbread and makes you want to take a bite out of the walls. These houses just look like models that happen to be made of gingerbread. Defeats the purpose.
