Derrick Lin has fun at work using the materials he finds in the office. He creates super fun miniature scenes when he is "bored". He calls it "Miniature Office", and he brings in small characters to life to perform everyday tasks.
"I work in advertising and my workday is often very chaotic and unpredictable. While trying not to let the stress get the best of me, I decided to turn the mundane and often annoying little moments in my agency life into inspirations for something whimsical and magical," told Derrick in his previous post here on Bored Panda.

This one is simply lovely! It's got a warm, friendly, inviting feel to it. It needs more upvotes!
At first I thought the figurine was carrying a gun... changed the message of the image entirely... I wonder how he managed to balance it so well with such a tiny "plank..."
These are great, but unless he's in an architect's office of some sort, I highly doubt he has model-building materials (people, trees, furniture, etc.) just lying around in the office. He must be rolling in the dough as they're pretty expensive, at least they are in my country.
Wow! These are amazing, but "using the materials he finds in the office"? I've never known an office that just casually has a flock of penguins. a miniature marching band, a model railway and dozens of other interesing minis lying around! lol
He works in advertising, so it's possible. I bet they have things other offices dont. Or a 3D printer?
