Tatsuya Tanaka has been creating and photographing these types of dioramas every day since 2011. He manages to give new life to ordinary things by using them in unexpected situations. In this way, glasses become ponds, waffles - bookshelves, rings turn into jacuzzis... And all that is for tiny people to enjoy. We invite you to lose yourself in these imaginary worlds.

The best part is the people - clearly miniscule, they're stories in themselves! The jolly old fellow holding the hand of - his new young wife? The young woman caressing her friend's forehead? The dad carefully carrying his child through....in each diorama, the cleverness is astonishing, but the population is exquisite.
I love the inclusiveness of wheelchair using athletes! Such a big detail that brings a lot.of.happiness to a wheelchair user like me.
I think this is supposed to represent how hospital beds feel when you lay on them
