79 Pictures That Might Make You Look Once, Twice, Then A Third Time Just To Be Sure
The human eye is a remarkable piece of biological engineering that has been confidently misreading situations since the dawn of time. It fills in gaps and makes extremely bold decisions about what it is looking at before your brain has had a chance to weigh in. Usually this works fine. Then someone takes a photo at a very specific angle, or a shadow falls in exactly the wrong place, and the whole system falls apart completely.
These pictures are that. Not optical illusions in the clinical, textbook sense. Just regular photos taken at the precise moment where reality decided to stop cooperating. You will squint. You will tilt your phone. You will show at least three of them to someone nearby without saying a word and watch their face do the exact same thing yours just did. Scroll carefully.

Big Cat

Regular cat in a regular kitchen. It's sitting on a table with one side lined up against the bottom of the left side cupboards. If you look behind the cat you can see the rear table edge in front of the oven.

Those Are Just Baby Turtles Not A Crocodile
Epona 15 hours ago
I used to live near a park that had a log that turtles would sun themselves on (similar to the ones in this image) and I would walk through that park to my mom's former neighbourhood and see the turtles. I also do not live in an area where there are crocodiles (certainly not in a public park), so I would not assume this was a crocodile.
