Millennials Baffled As Neil Patrick Harris Posts Adorable 20th Anniversary Tribute To Husband
Millennials, most of whom are still trying to make sense of adulting, felt the whirlwind of time after seeing the news of Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka celebrating the 20th anniversary of their very first date. Yes, two whole decades.
The married couple shared pictures of themselves on April 1 to celebrate the anniversary of their first date, still looking head over heels in love with each other.
Neil, 50, took to Instagram and wrote about how he and his husband of nearly 10 years have made so many “remarkable memories” together.

“Our first date was 20 years ago today,” the How I Met Your Mother star wrote in his post dedicated to 48-year-old David.
“Man, how time has flown by… and yet… we’ve shared so many adventures, created so many remarkable memories,” Neil went on to say. “If the next 7,300 days are like the previous ones, I’ll be absolutely thrilled.”
“Happy anniversary, David. I love you unconditionally, most of the time. XO,” the actor concluded.

Fans, including celebrities like Selena Gomez (who commented with a crying face and a heart), left wishes in the comments section for the happy couple, and some also marveled at how time has flown by.
“Congratulations on the accomplishment and may there be many more for such a great couple!” one wrote, while another said, “And somehow neither of you has aged.”
“Whoa … Time is a curious thing,” another wrote.
Fans called the happy husbands “cute” and “the epitome of true love”

David also shared a post to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his first date with Neil on April 1.
“My dreams have come true since we decided to take this incredible journey together. Today marks 20 years since our first date and I can’t imagine a better life,” David wrote in his post.
“@nph I love you with all my soul,” he added. “I deserve a f—ing medal… and so do you.”
Boredpanda - don't feed into this c**p. Change the title. It was already silly enough but then I read the article and....there's not a SINGLE baffle millennial being featured. This sort of messaging is divisive and helps no one. Millennials aren't baffled (at large) by people celebrating anniversaries or gay men or whatever the word 'baffling' is supposed to apply to.
The only time I’m interested in seeing NPH content is when he’s on one of those lists where people talk about their horrible or wonderful encounters with celebrities. Because it validates my feelings on him. As a queer guy I appreciate the representation he brings, as heteronormative as it is. Yet, just because he provides positive representation doesn’t necessarily mean he’s a nice or good person. Personally, I’ve experienced his tornado of first class lounge tantrum and will leave it at, “he’s no Keanu”
I’m sure you’re not a Keanu either. Everyone has their days. I know my gay guy friends tend to be a bit over reactive at times when upset or intoxicated. Just because you experienced one episode of discontent doesn’t mean it’s a normal occurrence.
