The UK’s Messiest Bedrooms Of 2020 Have Just Been Revealed And They’re Leaving Some People In Shock And Disgust
Have you ever looked around your bedroom, realized how unbelievably messy it got, and thought to yourself: "Man, why am I like this?" If your answer is yes, well, these 16 photos might help you feel a tiny bit better about yourself.
The company called Bed SOS held a photo competition with a goal to find the messiest bedroom in the United Kingdom. "Competition by Bed SOS to find out who in the UK has the messiest bedroom. The winner will receive a free bed worth up to £400," Bed SOS wrote in the post announcing the competition. Apparently, the company received over 300 entries from across the country. Of course, the quarantine might have something to do with it.
The winners of the competition have just been announced, and let us tell you, the photos are not disappointing at all. So, without further ado, Bored Panda invites you to look inside the UK's messiest bedrooms of the year 2020.

I am sorry, but the parents have a responsibility to teach their kids some minimal skills. My sons have been cleaning and tidying up their rooms since they were 1 y.o. Yes, 1 y.o. Folding their own laundry included since they turned 2 y.o. Imagine what this filthy beast can do to nature, public spaces, etc! This is just a huge parenting gap!

My mom used to make folding clothes and doing chores into a game. When we got a bit older Saturday was chore day, if you didn't finish, you didn't go out.

This is why toy rotation is essential. The play room should not become toy storage room...kids get overstimulated easily and will not apply themselves properly to an activity / toy with so much choice available...

When you are constant in nagging about it, they become automatic in cleaning up and even start bugging you about messing their clean room :D Now my boys' rooms are the cleanest and tidiest rooms in the entire house... If only I could go back in time and bring up my husband properly as well... :D

Parents' fault again. It's easy to give them ultimatums, like no wifi, no meals until it's cleaned. Once you let your kids do whatever they want, they got you under their control.

I wish this wasn't a competition, because it looks like most of these people are going through heavy depressive episodes. They need help, not to win an award for how out of hand their depression has gotten.

My daughter is like this, its not depression, she just doesn't care about her room or cleaning. She thinks its fine, I think its gross. She's to busy 'living her life' to clean up. This was not how she was raised or taught but she's still this way as an adult.

Yeah, my place is not at all spartan or organized. I have stacks of books, art supplies, and unorganized shelves. I also rarely dust. ... But I never have food containers just stacked up, clothes on the floor, etc. ever.
