Mesmerizing Photo-Portals Created By A Young Polish Photographer Pawel Oleszkiewicz
A portal, a portalography is a collage where multiplied mirror reflections of one photograph create a kaleidoscopic composition. The author, Paweł Oleszkiewicz takes all the photos himself and then edits them in Photoshop. After the edit, the portal's hypnotic power reveals a different view of the photographed object.
You could say this idea is pretty simple, but actually, every piece is very well thought-out. "And - although a portal can be made by photographing anything - a few conditions need to be met to achieve a satisfactory result," says Paweł. He makes portals out of everything he sees, be it at work, at home or during holidays.
