It is no secret that men and women don’t see eye to eye on certain things. I bet most of us have witnessed or even been in one of those situations where a guy thinks he’s complimenting a woman and she takes the compliment for insult…
To make it a bit more clear about how men and women see the world around them differently Alex Distasi and Nomi Kane have created a series of hilariously accurate comics. Created for College Humor, the comics show how men and women see the same situations in different ways. They’re so accurate, both men and women will relate! Check them out below.

Share on FacebookI'm not sure this is so much how women "see" the world, as how the world actually is most of the time. x
What's BS is how many guys pass on the free condoms (because sex doesn't feel as good for them) and how many women actually go through all the b******t to get on birth control to include all the side affects and going to the doc.
And can we just take a minute and talk about how men almost never pay for birth control but they expect sometimes for the girl to pay for the condoms as well?
Load More Replies...Just don't have sex with a man who won't wear a condom ESPECIALLY if it goes against your wishes, comfort, beliefs, and impacts your well-being. In fact, you shouldn't even be seeing such a man. Nor should men be seeing a woman who treats him in this way as well. Find someone who actually CARES about your happiness and success in life. Why is this all so hard for people to understand? We should be instilling these sort of beliefs, self-respect, and respect for others at a young age.
Just wanted to add to the man's part of this that I've heard plenty of stories where girls say they are on birth control, but end up having lied. Guys, it's in YOUR best interest, as well as hers, to ALWAYS wear a condom until you are in a close and trusting relationship with good communication.
Load More Replies...This is again one of those men/women-comics that somehow makes me feel less feminine. I don't know if it's just me, or a cultural thing.
I think it is different where you live and what kind of people you have around you, yes.

Elderly relatives have always asked me about school and work which pissed me off greatly once I reached a certain age as they didn't seem to expect me to get married or into a relationship. You only get asked if you're going to have a baby if you are already married and you are only going to be asked when you are going to settle down if you get to a certain age not when you are under twenty.

Birth control is free on the NHS where I live but otherwise you are right. Both men and women get asked when they are going to settle down and once settled only then get asked when they are going to have a family. Women just get asked at a slightly earlier age then men do.

Just some deodorant and good clothes are absolutely enough. Of course, if you have time and patience, you can use 1/8 of your day, but personally, I have more important stuff to do.
I mostly don't understand why you'd put so much more effort into it in a date than in any other day. Isn't it better if the guy/girl gets to see what you look like normally instead of a fake version you built specially for the date?

ok, now add treatement of depression and differentce between male and female suicide, treatement of private body parts by doctors, dont forget to add a picture where everyone celebrates and helps out a young pretty girl no matter that she didnt achieve anything at or even just spent her short life s******g all over everyone and getting a free pussy pass and a regular 20 something guy having to fight the whole world to earn enough money, have a place to stay and then add more of that to even get any attention and emotional gratification which got cut off from him by his own mother once he hit puberty, while being called priviledged. Dont forget to add a picture about a typical low grade jobs men versus women take, one where shes annoyed that she cant be the boss of her local fast food restaurant and one where a guy is cleaning the gutters under the very same place. Dont forget to add the part about lack of reproduction rights for men and lack of any control over it once the deed isdone
you can still give a girl a f*****g condom to prevent pregnancy, and a condom isnt a f*****g medical substance so of course you need doctors notice and b******t. Shut the f**k up with this narrative.
Again, birth control in some countries are free! Just have an appointment with your family doctor or nurses and they will give you for free and you do the exactly same process for the condoms.
I don't like it :( or is this a joke and it supposed to be funny? ( @ _ @||) I mean, maybe I'm taking this seriously but not all women are like that and you are making women look like their lives are unfair (?) or bad. Not trying to shame anyone here just saying ( 6 _ 6 )
Yep... let's continue to hate on each other through our differences. #hateeverything2017
So poining out issues/fears in life is the same as hating each other? Interesting..

And yet the click bait at the bottom of this website reinforces the "ideal" body (for both male and female) and promotes body shaming and exclusion. Also the beauty standards women follow are a choice. Yes not wearing make up might put you in a disadvantage in a social or work situation but why do you still feel the need to fit into a group of people who judge you by these standards? There are many groups of people (including owners of businesses) who don't indulge in these, without detriment to their happiness, health, or wealth. As a man I choose not to work out and guess what I get along well with girls who also don't prioritize the ideal body shape. Yes I am excluded by women who prioritize fitness but that's not my loss because it's not a common ground I'm missing out on. The fear of strangers and inequality in birth control freebies does suck and should change but this comic does nothing toward offering a method as to how to help create that change.
I agree with your points. Especially with the last idea that if you are an advocate for change, propose a probable solution to the problem. I get that these are just comics and sometimes you need to vent. But I'm seeing a lot of venting online and very little problem-solving.
Load More Replies...The first one just sounds like the thoughts of a paranoid person rather than women in general. The style one sounds like your own fault, to be honest, and if you say "oh, but society's pressure on what women should look like", you don't HAVE to follow that. And the family one just shows that you have an old-fashioned grandmother. Or uh, mother? I can't really tell. Regardless, it doesn't seem like something to get hung up on in comparison to the other things, just be honest and insistent in response, force the conversation away from family-making. As for the last one, U.S. sex ed seems to be s**t. It's the religious right's fault. Believe me, I want Trump and Pence and their ilk gone before their time like everyone else.
Here come the men going "ACTUALLY IT'S NOT LIKE-" NO UTERUS, NO OPINION, FUCKNUGGET.

great comic..lets highlight the problems women face in the world by alienating all men and putting the good ones in the same box as the bastards...seems fair
They claim it's humour but to me it's not funny at all. It's just generalising about men and women and the goal is to divide the genders.
Load More Replies...I'm from the future....where it's gender fluid ....so I can't relate but interesting illustrations though!
Is this really how we are supposed to think? Examples: (The first Date) My first thought is not "I hope this person does not murder me" (style) I thought women wore all that because they want to, not have to...I wear jeans t-shirt and work boots, no makeup. (Travel) are we really supposed to be that scared and paranoid about other humans?. I'm no asking this to cause trouble I really want to know, this is not like me or any women in my family :/
My only thought were "I hope he doesn't force me to French kiss him in public, demand I accept a cigarette (most common in the 70's when most people smoked), blow cigarette smoke in my face, drive badly, bore me or annoy me". By the way when I reached 16 when it became legal to buy cigarettes back then I would be under pressure to smoke and research findings had already shown that smoking increased the risk of getting lung cancer and other diseases as well affecting your stamina and general health. No matter what I told them there was the pressure to accept a cigarette so I would end up walking away. By the time I had got to 20 they had given up as people who get to that age without smoking probably won't take it up. They really thought I would want to rebel by smoking yet my parents said that it was OK for me to smoke when I get to 16 as long as I didn't do it downstairs in their home. I had better things to do with my time and money than smoke and valued my health too much.

The one with the makeup is stupid; I know so many women who don't wear any make up and if they do, they do it, because they like and want it. Sure there are some, that seem to wear make up, because the soceity make them believe they have to, but: this way it isn't "how a woman see something" it is how soceity makes it seem. Also the thing with birth control: huh? Like some people also say; birth control is a thing for both, it's not really something you decide alone. Sure, you should think about it an be prepared, but also a woman can go for the "free" (i think its rare that you find free condoms) condoms and avoid the pill. Also I'm not sure if most guys be like this. I think there are men that struggle with selfesteem, also like some women do.
remember when i first met my girlfriend. i didn't tell anyone, i just go at that place. My girlfriend: she tell her family with who she was and where she was.
If I go meet someone I've never met in person, I might not tell people who I'm meeting, but I make sure it's during busy hours, in a place with many people and that someone knows at least where I am. But I don't do that just with men, or because I'm a woman, I do that because strangers are strangers and better safe than sorry. A woman might not be physically as capable of hurting you, but she could be working with someone, or have a weapon or something.
