Meet Hippo

She is a Skinny Pig. Like a Guinea Pig, only mostly hairless. The first of them were developed in a laboratory, and not discovered in some part of the world.

Hippo is used to being called ugly, or disgusting. But I don’t think that’s fair. Just because Skinny Pigs look different. Yes, everyone has a right to opinion. But just because certain people think she’s ugly, doesn’t mean you should avoid her. If humans judged everything that way, we’d have a whole different society, people with best friends probably wouldn’t have those best friends because they look different. People might not even have dogs or cats, just because they look different!

But most of us (I hope) don’t let appearance get in the way of something. You may find Hippo ugly, but if all her inner beauty was outer beauty, she’d be the most beautiful Skinny Pig ever to set paw on this planet.

But she’s not the only Skinny Pig, they’re all great pets that shouldn’t be ignored over appearance.
