I don't think the author knows what a "Drag Queen" is. See, it's a man. A man, that dresses as a woman. To each his own, I don't care. But HE is not a SHE. So HE can do makeup and transform HIMSELF to anyone. And I'll give him credit, he does a great job. The first 2 are amazing but most of the rest are loose interpretations.

Drag queens are men that dress as women with extravagant and over-the-top theatrical makeup and clothing as an art form. While in drag, their drag queen persona is referred to as "she." While out of drag, their male persona is referred to as "he." Most of these have heavy dark shading around the chin and jawline which is supposed to give the illusion of changing the shape of the face. The only thing this shading did was to draw my attention to the stark contrast of the pale facial tones and the dark brown contouring. He is not one of the better makeup artists I've seen. He's a LOT better than me, but still has much to improve.

Incredible. It's amazing how you can change the shape of your face with a little make up.

I think this guy is talented, but his makeup looks more like stage makeup then make up for close up pictures. I think his characters would look great from the distance of a theater seat, but the flaws show through when the makeup is too close. Subtlety is not his forté.
