You're saying that, but do you really think the version on the left (no makeup) is prettier than made up version? Style aside, but those big eyes and lips, small nose, delicate jaw line are what tells our brains: pretty. Generic, yes, but obviously prettier.

there's this really cool thing, they are called "contact lenses" and you can get coloured ones to change what colour your eyes look like too!!

Coloured contacts, and I think there's some sort of glue or something which helps open the eyes further. Plus all the masacara and eyeliner makes them look bigger. This isn't necessarily a filter.

The eyes are actually the same size. The faux lashes make her eyes look bigger, and colored contacts make her eyes a different colour.

nope! colored contacts! As for the eyes, you can use colors to make them APPEAR larger. you'll notice a lot of black at the corner of her eyes.

She has used tape to shape the bottom half of her face, turned her head a little, used her hair to mask the very edged of her cheekbones, lengthened her head by piling her hair up on the top and opening her mouth a little. Also I think reshaping her nose gives an impression of a longer more angular face. There's a full range of tricks and they all add up to what looks like a complete change in face shape.

There's some sort of tape at the side of her face that makes her face slimmer and more oval than round. When you watch the timelapse of the people doing makeup like this you can see them putting it on and taking it off.

That stuff is used to make nose less flat and wide, they do it from the inside. And, yes, it's hard to breathe :(

looks like it might be pulling it downward to make it longer and more narrow; maybe it even narrows the wide nostrils. I'd like to see more of the process.

So sad. Trading breathing for a fake nose shape. What is the point? Certainly that doesn't look natural in real life.
