Seeing as it was the 40th anniversary of the original movie, it makes a lot of sense for Anucha to show some love for the franchise.

Lowcost Cosplay has over 4.5 million followers on Facebook, as well as more than 563,000 fans on Instagram. Which just goes to show that Anucha’s simplicity and genius resonate with lots and lots of people.

After all, it’s possible to make hilarious and striking costumes with nothing more than household objects, some ingenuity, and lots of willpower: you’re not required to spend endless weeks and hundreds of dollars on your costume.
