We Found GoPro Camera On Etna And We Need The Internet To Help Us Find The Owners. Here Are The Last Pics (UPDATE)

Me and my wife got married on June 17th. For ages we had a plan to go to Sicily on our honeymoon. And we did. Since very first moment we were in love with everything: people, language, food, sights, nature etc. One of our goals in this trip was to climb Etna volcano. Moving to the point of this story we climbed Etna on June 20th. During this day we were very excited about our journey, changes in our lives, beauty of volcano which by the way wasn’t the easiest thing to climb to. But it’s worth the effort as Etna is something out of this world, it seemed like walking in different planet or a moon.

On our way back from the highest point of Etna we found Iphone, but immediately saw a girl looking for something so owner was found instantly. But like after next hundred steps we saw GoPro camera on the ground and this time there were no people looking for it. We walked with it all the way back in our hands, asking people if they haven’t lost one, but with no success. All the way we considered what to do with it either to leave at lost and found or try to find its owners on our own. One thing we knew that we don’t want to keep something we don’t own. And people who lost it haven’t lost only a camera but it had all their precious memories and photos. We were so happy with our Sicily experience and we thought it was unfair someone has bad one and we want to return their camera to bring back joy to them.

So dear Bored Panda community, help us find this girl or her friends so that GoPro camera would find its way back home!

Wow that's so nice of you. I hope the owner notice this. Like you said, this is not just about the GoPro. Anyone can buy a new camera but memories can never be bought back.

I am looking forward to a follow-up! The fotos are very expressive...in times of social media, the owners should be quickly located. Just how quickly will be exciting to know. :)
