Last Year, This Animal Shelter In Texas Shared 15 Photos Of Adorable ‘Aliens’ To Boost Their Visibility And Encourage People To Adopt
Ah, the simpler times of the midsummer of 2019 when the only national threat was an Area-51 raid. No Covid-19 yet, no such thing as anti-maskers, no national debate on whether to revive the economy or to save lives... Bored Panda offers you a chance to rewind time for a little while and relive the things that put smiles on your faces.
One such thing was the genius 'marketing' strategy of one animal shelter in Longview, Texas. "Do you want to storm Area 51 and find aliens? You can do that right here at the Longview Animal Care and Adoption Center," the shelter's employees wrote in a then-viral post. "We won't resist, you can take them all. Our aliens can go home with you for the best price in the galaxy." In the post, the shelter shared 15 photos of the most adorable, cutest aliens you'll ever see. Scroll down below to see them all and check out Longview Animal Care and Adoption Center if you're looking for a furry friend to adopt!

That dog is so chilled. He's like, yeah, whatever, when's snack time?
Hey my brother live there! Today is his 40th Bday. He will never see any of this lol. Longview is about 2 hours East of Dallas. Small city of around 80K mostly oil workers. Biggest employer is the regional hospital that services all the other smaller cities around them. My brother is the regional food director and runs the kitchen. If the hospital food suck there, blame him.
