    Hannu Huhtamo is a Helsinki-based Finnish painter who uses light instead of paint to create stunning images. His art is based on cameras, set to take long exposure shots. “While the camera’s shutter is open you are able to draw in the air by moving <…> light sources in front of the camera,” Hannu explains. His shots usually vary from a few minutes to a few hours, and the images that appear static are actually the result of continuous prolonged movement. “Darkness is the canvas and light is my brush.”
