Most of us don't like ads. People usually think they're obnoxious, too colorful, and can ruin many good-looking things like houses, streets, websites, etc. However, ads are crucial for many businesses out there. They help spread the word about your company, product, or services to the masses. Without advertisement, the world would be a much different place. But what if ads were almost everywhere?

The designers of Designcrowd were challenged to place ads in the most unexpected places, like on animals, celebrities, and even historical monuments. The result really puts things in perspective and will probably make you laugh.

More info: DesignCrowd | Facebook | Twitter

DesignCrowd shares more about themselves on their website: "Our mission is to help businesses find the best design in the world, faster, and at a price that fits their budget. We also want to give designers the chance to earn money for their creative skills."

"Perfect for custom graphic, logo, web and print design. DesignCrowd is an online creative marketplace that helps start-ups, businesses and entrepreneurs connect with a global network of designers. DesignCrowd also owns and manages BrandCrowd, an online logo maker." So if you're ever searching for a designer to make you a logo, website, or anything similar, go to DesignCrowd's website and see what they have to offer. And If you're a designer yourself, maybe you'll find some new career opportunities.

We asked DesignCrowd what inspired these contests and they said that it's all for the community: "We call these contests 'community contests.' These are inspired, run, and entered purely by our community of designers."

DesignCrowd shares how long have they been doing these community challenges: "DesignCrowd acquired a website Worth1000.com back in 2014. Contests like these have been running on Worth1000 for many years. They've now been ported to DesignCrowd. So, since at least 2014 on our platform and longer on Worth1000." They shared that they have many contests on their website and their community is quite big, getting from 20 to 60 entries per contest.

We have many articles about ads. Like this article about Poland. They decided to clean up their city and started to remove ads from buildings. The city started to look much better and cleaner. Or another article from DesignCrowd about funny advertisements that are sure to make you laugh.

They tell us more about their website and what their goal is: "DesignCrowd is a graphic design marketplace where people looking for custom design (logos, business cards, print design, etc.) can get access to our global community of designers.

Our mission is to help businesses find the best design in the world, faster, and at a price that fits their budget. We also want to give designers the chance to earn money for their creative skills."

DesignCrowd says that they usually don't pay the winners of the contest, they are all just for fun: "These contests are not usually paid in any way (though we do periodically run paid community contests such as this one). These contests are simply to show off your creativity. There is a small degree of gamification whereby designers can win points."

Not sure that a dead person needs a box of tissues. A gas company might be more appropriate for a cremation.

Eve was the first programmer: she had an Apple in one hand, and a W**g in the other.

If this were ever to happen, I'd have to ask Atlas to stop the world so I could get off.
