I'm from a small town in Germany called Homburg, and every time someone asks me where I'm from I have to say "Homburg, NOT Hamburg!"

This is so true, I live in a major city now but when people ask me where I'm from I always say "ummm.. have you heard of .. " and mention the closest city near my town and when they say "yes!" then I say "Yeah, I''m from about 2 hours south of there.."
