If You Still Don’t Know What Pet To Pick, Illustrations By This Artist Will Help You Decide (24 New Pics)
Sometimes the most peaceful and joyous moments come from the simplest things in life: the sweet moments of respite, the idyll of the routine, bonding with your pet, etc. But we often tend to forget this in the hustle and the bustle of our intense modern existence.
So it's great that we have artists like Yaoyao Ma Van As that remind us of these truths through her illustrations. Her drawings have a whimsical style and a calming effect to many, and remind us that happiness lies in appreciating the little things in our lives.

I was confused for a sec, but then I remembered that when concrete is too hot for even us humans to touch, then it's too hot for our pets' feet too. She's pretty cool for doing that :)
As the title of the post suggests, there are many benefits to having a dog. The illustrations are softer arguments, but there are a few more solid and concrete ones. Dogs help you remain active, they reduce the risk of heart disease and heart attack, they also help reduce the blood pressure and overall stress levels. And that's just to name a few.
We had a labbie, he raced round in the rain and mud while we sheltered. happy days.
Here's how Yaoyao introduces herself in her bio: "I am an art director, painter, illustrator and occasional animator. Over the years I have worked at Disney TV Animation, Warner Brothers Animation, Rick and Morty, Stoopid Buddy Studios, Starburns Industries, etc. I enjoy creating little stories with each of my paintings, especially the ones with my dog Parker in them."
The illustrations that Yaoyao produces are very light, whimsical, and even ephemeral in some sense. She manages to capture the bliss of the moment, even though the images are very dynamic in and of themselves. The illustrations give an effect of stillness within the motion, which is why they produce such a calming and peaceful feeling when one looks at them.
This is the fourth iteration of Yaoyao's series on Bored Panda. If you would like to see the previous illustrations, no problem, here are the links to each respective part: I, II, III. Though the gist of them is very similar, this doesn't detract from any of the images, and you may enjoy them the same as in this post. So, please do give a look!
... And the Princess (meant in a nice way) lives happily ever after with her dog.
Don't dogs know that CATS are in charge of the bathroom. Motto: hooman's never pee alone and always check on litter box.
These were amazing. I remember the good times with Robbie, my dog. I miss him. No onions, no ninja's, just crying
My 8 yr old dog, gotten when he was barely 8 days old, died last week…. Oddly, both of us had liver issues too deal with. Don’t know the causation, either. We all feel unstrung & edgy.
