Lifeguards! This is your chance to tell people things you hate/tips/advice of what not to do

WE ARE !NOT! a babysitting service, when we say kids under a certain age need to stay with you, THEY NEED TO STAY WITH YOU!!! No watching them from your seat, or hiving them floaties to keep them from driving and just letting them run around, stay with your kids, I cannot express this enough

Not sure if this quite fits… but if you’re fit, we’ll talk about you, if you’re smoking hot, we’ll talk about you, basically, if you stand out to us in any (positive) way, we’ll talk about you in the guard room. Not in a bad way, most lifeguards are just as self conscious, if not more, than you are, we’ll just notice something and talk about it (did you see that muscular guy “which one?” In the black trunks swimming laps *guard goes outside and takes a peek* I wish I was that muscular” ikr? Or “omg he’s hot”) or “check out that woman with the purple hair, I wonder how it stays so vibrant” “I need to know where she gets it done” nothing bad, just appreciating things

We. Hate. Camps. If there’s a camp, the front desk person will tell us “heads up, there’s a camp of 20 kids” and later in the day “there’s a second camp with 40 kids” we understand that there aren’t enough adults to watch all the young kids, but a lot of the kids don’t know how to swim, and the camp counselors don’t set many rules, so there’d be a kid going off the diving board with confidence cause he saw another kid doing it, then said kid starts drowning. Or little kids will get neglected and not even have floaties
