"Life In The Shower"

If you take a shower 5 times per week, you spend about 35 hours a year in there. That’s a lot of standing around naked under the water. Recently, creative mastermind Chaz Hutton (previously here and here) decided to sum up his experiences in the shower in a comic, and it’s too real.

Appropriately titled “Life in the Shower,” the series takes a closer look at what’s happening and what we’re up to when cleansing ourselves.

“I lived in a place in the UK for a year that only had a bath, and so after a bath or two every day for a year I’m kinda done with baths,” Chaz told Bored Panda. “Give me a shower any day.”

“Ideally, [a good shower is] one that has an amazing view coupled with the risk that someone might accidentally look the other way through the same window.”

Chaz admitted he has experienced all of the moments featured in the series. “I came up with the idea for this comic while having a shower and thinking about how I had no ideas for any comics.” Scroll down to check out his stuff and let us know what happens in your shower. It misses the "when you're singing in the shower" one. Also, "when you're at a hotel kinda place and the shower head is too low and unadjustable".

For those with long hair: trying to shake off stray hairs stuck to your fingers, finally succumbing to plastering it to the wall of shower lol these are all quite good !

I was in a hotel in California once where the shower head literally only reached the middle of my chest (I'm not extremely tall). I was so frustrated I went out and bought a tape measure - turns out it was only 52" (127cm) higher than the drain. I posted pictures of my measurement to their website.

Yeah, HOW did he miss doing a 'singing in the shower' cartoon?!!! Or one would be cute if the cat was peeking around into the shower to see what was going on. Or one where suddenly the phone is ringing and it's at the other end of the house... or when the doorbell unexpectedly rings.

You forgot 'When the drain is clogged and the water is spilling and you even haven't even begun to wash" and "When there's 3 cats looking at you while you're taking a shower."

Washing your hair with your eyes closed. Suddenly start thinking about the ghost/murderer/monster who is with you in the shower and watching you. So you panic and open your eyes. Screaming because the soap gets in your eyes and you force to close them but then you can't see the ghost/murderer/monster so you scream even harder.

And then you down the rest of the shower with your eyes open and refusing to face away from the shower entrance. All the while going thru how you are going to escape whilst butt naked and if fighting naked is an option.

Every damn time. But one time when I opened my eyes with these thoughts, in already half panic my SO had sneaked in the shower and was staring at me and gave me the scare of my life. Also @BusLady Thanks for the soaping up idea, gonna use it next I scare myself.

Worse when your shower has one of those frosted and textured windows, and you're scared to close your eyes, but also scared to look out just in case you see a face looking back at you.

I do all of those. Especially the pee in the shower - mostly because my six-year-old son likes to try join me in the shower (which is my QUIET time), and he runs away screaming, to another part of the house.
