TV’s The View panelist Meghan McCain is accustomed to being the black sheep of her less conservative co-workers – but this week she got called out offstage. The host tweeted out a conspiracy theory about ‘late-term’ abortions, the source of which is unclear – and an OB/GYN was happy to correct her.

Dr. Daniel Grossman is an OB/GYN and abortion provider, so unsurprisingly he is very well versed on the topic and graciously went about fact-checking McCain in a series of tweets. The doctor not only debunked her fake statistics and provided accurate ones, but even explained the reasons why patients have the procedure after 20 weeks. Scroll down below to read McCain’s tweet and this OB/GYN’s in-depth response!
